Last night it got down to 27 and tonight it is 35 degrees. On our way home from a friend's party, we saw our first glimpse of some decent northern lights. It was going strong right above our house and so I shot these holding our digital camera as still as possible on the front deck of our house. You can see the lights above the house and then looking forward off the deck. We can see them out our bedroom window tonight. I should use a tri-pod, maybe next time!
