Today we went to the
Blue House, 10 km south of the city center in Coyoacan, where Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera lived until her death. They had some of her artwork on display. We t

hen went to Museo Dolores Olmedo Patiño, 20 km south of the central, to see an extensive display of Diego Rivera art and a smaller display of Frida´s art. We think that much of Fridas work must be in private collections, because there arent't that many pieces in the two biggest Frida museums

. To get to the museums we took the subway and light rail and we could actually see the snow-covered peaks in the distance because the pollution wasn't too bad. The museums were nice and had beautiful gardens. The Museo Dolores Olmedo Patiño museum had ixcuintla's (hairless dogs) and peacocks running around the gardens.
