We have been mostly relaxing at our beach, Playa Panteon, and enjoying the warm weather and sun. Puerto Angel is a great little town, not overly touristy and relatively cheap accomodations. On Tuesday we went to a neighboring beach called San Agustinillo, about 5 miles from Puerto Angel, which was a beautiful long beach and relatively empty, we might head over there to stay on Sunday for a few days before leaving.
On Wednesday we took the 4-hour snorkeling tour for $10 per person and on the way out to the reefs we saw big hu
ge sea turtles and dolphins! There had to be about 10 or more of the dolphins, and one was a mama with a baby dolphin! It was really neat and they stuck with our boat for about 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately, the swells were really big, so Emily got a little sick. The snorkeling was really good for being on the Pacific side and we have been seeing alot of different fish (angelfish, sea snakes, puffers, etc......). We had one decent seafood meal for dinner, Luke had camarones (shrimp) and I had seafood marinera pasta, with camarones and pulpos (octopus).
Today Luke went out again snorkeling today, right off our beach and saw a variety of fish on the small rocks. Then we went to the nearby town (6 miles) of P
ochutla by camioneta (sit in benches in the back of a truck), to get more money. Pochutla was bustling and had good prices on fruit/vegetables and aguas frescas, so we had a bite to eat. Tonight, Luke went out fishing with some locals (not with fishing rod, but Mexican style) for tuna. He was going to head out yesterday, but he missed their boat. We'll try to post a report soon, with the results of his fishing experience!
Well, not too much more to report on, we are just relaxing on the beach, reading, swimming, and snorkeling. Drop us an email or comment on the blog and let us know how you are doing!

I like the first snorkel photo, is it a reflection on top of the water?

How about a map of Mexico showing your locations?
