This weekend is a big holiday and so the town is packed with tourists, mostly Mexicans, but the gringos are starting to roll in too. This morning my dad made Bob B.'s favorite, cactus. He prepared it in scrambled eggs, with other veggies.
Today we went to the beach and it was crowded. People were selling stuff everywhere, seafood, juice, sweets, corn, clothing, jewelry, tatoos, braids, beach gear, banana boat rides, etc. Tonight we walked around and it was hopping. We had fried plantanos and churros rellenos (churro stuffed w/ sweet milk). Here are some photos from the beach today:
