Let's see, lately we haven't been up to much besides relaxing and taking walks. Monday is the most important holiday for Mexico, the
day of the revolution (1910-1917 uprisings, military/political conflicts, and then formation of new Constitution in 1917). There will be many festivities. So here are some photographs we have taken recently:

Emily and Luke, relaxing in the hammock.

We came across some kids jumping through a ring of fire one night.
Skeleton paper mache sculptures in at a shop.

A cemetery eroding on a beach at La Penita.

Emily and Luke at dinner (Italian food).

Sunset at La Penita.

This was a Mexican family fishing from the beach. They used fishing line w/ bait, tied onto a plastic pop bottle. We saw them reel in a small grouper.

Man demonstrating the plastic pop bottle fishing technique.

Luke posing on one of the Puerto Vallarta malecon statues.

A green bay packers poncho.

Candy at the grocery store. They were marshmallows, shaped like ice cream cones.

A sign at a school, it reads: Don't contaminate the water.

An interesting, tri-colored flower.

Lucha Libre poster! We missed it, it was on Nov. 1, but we'll find another one to attend.
