Mexico Map

I thought I would post this map, so you can see where we are. We are about 1 hour north of Puerto Vallarta (PV) in Rincon de Guayabitos. Mexico City is in the Center part, Oaxaca is in the southern part and the Yucatan is the peninsula to the east, near the Carribean Sea. Mexico is a very large country, it is about a 12 hour bus ride to Mexico City (maybe 800 miles) from PV. Mazatlan is about 400 Km north of PV.

Below is a map of the state of Nayarit, where Rincon de Guayabitos is located. Puerto Vallarta is in the state of Jalisco, to the south of Nayarit. Guadalajara, the second largest city in Mexico, is located in Jalisco.

This weekend, we drove north to San Blas along the coast, and then to Santiago Ixcuintla and Mexcaltitlan. Sayulita is south of Rincon de Guayabitos.
